This gives the fastener extra holding power with less chance of punching through the material. The most important setting when firing capped fasteners is the depth adjustment; fire it too deep and you'll punch through your material, not deep enough and the material won't be securely fastened. The SL1838BC-1 features a unique "Dial-a-Depth" adjustment system that allows precise control over fastener depth without the need for a compressor adjustment. works just like its supposed to

I purchased this cap stapler in anticipation of roofing my house. Im not a contractor so I wanted to buy the tools so the job would go as fast as possible. Ive found lots of uses since so the purchase was definately worth it. Pros:

the caps seem kinda expensive. I shop around the internet and always find better prices than in the storeI would recommend this item to a friend.
