Delta 37-365X 8" DJ-20 Precision Jointer
The Delta 37-365X DJ-20 Jointer is one of the most successful and most recognized machines of the 8" parallelogram jointers. For almost two decades, the DJ-20 has been the first choice for those looking to make the step up from a 6" machine. The parallelogram table adjustment system allows both tables to be moved in a tight arc around the cutterhead, making for a quieter, safer and cleaner cut. The parallelogram design also offers finer bed support than traditional gibbed way jointers, and the extra support allows for longer tables without the worry of the beds sagging. The jointer head is machined from high-quality iron castings that are ground to a smooth surface free of any drag from table defects. The fence is also of the same excellent quality construction, designed to be longer than traditional lengths, providing more surface area support when working with oversized stock. A total bed length of over 7 feet makes for exceptional support when surfacing stock, eliminating the worry of the trailing edge sagging over the table edge. The cutterhead on the DJ-20 is a precision machined three knife gibbed cutterhead of the three knife variety; spinning at 5000 RPM's producing a cutting speed of 16,500 cuts per minute, producing an extra smooth cut. The Delta jointer head is seated atop a large thick gauge steel stand. The larger footprint allows easier and more precise leveling of the machine, and makes for a sturdier machine platform. The unit is powered by a 1 1/2 HP TEFC Induction dual voltage 120/240 volt motor for ample cutting power in all woods.

I just received my Delta jointer. I want to say not only is Tools-Plus' the price the best I could find, but the shipping charges where outstanding!!!!! I have never been able to order something of any size and have it shipped from so far for so cheap. Your tracking system is awesome, I received my jointer when I was told I would receive it AND it was damage free. I deal with U.P.S. everyday at work and have not seen them handle a box with white gloves like did this one, it looked like I brought it home from the store. You guys at Tools-Plus must have some kind of pull with them. Tools-Plus is definitely on the top of my list for any web site ordering I do in the future!
