Yes, you did receive the correct set of rails. They say 52" rip capacity to the right of the blade, but you can get a 55" rip. When you first set up the rail, (and that is where the answer to your second question comes in to play) you should use a tape and measure from the right side of the blades to the left side of the fence to make sure the cursers are set correctly. If you purchase the fence for this you will find it has two cursers: 1) you would use the curser to the right side of the fence for cuts made to the right of the blade; 2) the curser to the left of the fence for cuts made to the left of the blade. Also, the 78-919B is the correct fence for the 78-055B rails.By pat from oregon on December 18, 2011
