The Delta Biesemeyer BC-30 saw fence system is arguably the finest, fastest and highest precision saw fence ever offered to any table saw operator. The fence rail system has been designed to fit most any table saw produced, be it a contractor or cabinet style saw. Construction of the BC-30 rip fence is of solid walled welded steel tubular construction. All parts are manufactured to be perfectly straight and smooth in operation. The fence faces are of 9-ply Finland birch plywood, laminated with a low friction laminate and mar free edge banding to ensure smooth and even feeding of the stock. The BC-30 guide rail is of one solid rectangular steel tube for the utmost rigidity and straightness. The tube mounts directly to a solid steel angle iron piece in front of the saw table, with another angle iron piece in back for support. The fence head easily slides along the front guide rail smoothly and evenly, with two steel strips provided in front and atop the main rail for precision locking and smooth movement of the head assembly. Setting of the rip fence is made easy by means of a precision built in scale attached to the front tube assembly. A hairline cursor on the head with adjustment screws allow you to dial the head assembly in for precise, exact setting each and every time. The patented three point locking system automatically locks the head assembly in with perfect parallelism every time, completely eliminating the need for re-measuring, or checking the fence at the rear of the blade. The Delta BC-30 entire system is covered in a durable white enamel to prevent rust and corrosion, while making the fence clearly visible to the operator at all times.
The simple logic behind fitting this new Fence and Rail kit:
The rail needs to mount onto the front lip (usually this surface is vertical,but wedge shimming is acceptable) of the table and again on the front lip of theextension wings (which both may need to be drilled out to accommodate the rail).Many wings are cast with an open pattern and others are stamped out of sheetmetal.
There just needs to be enough meat and strength to keep the fence fromloosening (or deflecting) once the rail is mounted.

Great improvement!

The fence went on my old Rockwell/Delta Unisaw perfectly. Very easy to put on and directions were perfect. The only issue i had was there was a slightly raised bit of metal on the fence that was bumping on the joint between my cast table and the extended table. Most likely a function of the saw, but I had to grind a bit of the raised edge of the fence to make it work smoothly. The fence is fantastic and well worth the $$.Pros:

The bies fence is very robust and operates smoothly and accurately. easy to align and adjust. I was very pleased with every aspect of my purchase with Tools Plus! Their price beat everyone, the shipping and communication were top notch. I'm getting ready to buy another Delta fence for my old contractor saw. I would recommend this item to a friend.

I bought this fence to replace my Unifence. The new fence works nice and can utilize accessories because of its shape, but the operation is not any smoother than my Unifence. The big drawback to this fence is that there is bare metal on the rail and it has already started to rust. Delta recommends waxing the rail weekly which helps. I was very surprised the rail was not stainless steel.Pros:

Just wanted to tell you that I received my 30||| biesemeyer fence in record time (2 days) and have it installed on my 10||| Craftsman #113.29920. I had to drill a few holes but all went well. It is a perfect fit. It is like having a brand new saw. Good Bye to using a tape measure to make accurate cuts.I would recommend this item to a friend.
