Regardless of battery chemistry (Lithium Ion or NiCd) if the voltage matches it fits. So the 18 volt DC9096, DC9180, DC9181 (lith-ion) will fit.

Great driver. Really melts the screws into the wood. No stopping it.I give it a four out of five because:
1) the trigger is pretty sensitive. its nearly full bore or nothing. not for finesse work. would be nice to have more gradual speed increase...( of course, it is an impact driver)
2) the motor smells pretty bad (not sure if its just the one i got)
Pros:
Ballsy.Compact.
Has a light in the front.
Cons:
Sensitive trigger.Smelly/burning motor.
I would recommend this item to a friend.
