Last Christmas my husband kept begging me for a new scroll saw. Now I'm the first to admit that I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to tools. But we all know that in my house, when it's time to pay the bills, mow the lawn, or turn on the computer, I'm the only one we can trust. So I didn't mind admitting I didn't know what to look for. There were a lot of high and low priced scroll saws, but every review I read and researched pointed to the DeWalt DW788 Scroll Saw. My husband is a great man, but the saw he picked out was cheap in price AND quality. God bless him, I knew he was only trying to save me the dollar, but nothing could compare to the DW788's large cast iron table, arm design that dramatically reduces vibration, and reliably powerful cuts. Just to spoil him a little more, I even bought the DeWalt DW7880 Scroll Saw Stand for that added measure of security and reliability. When the quality of a product differs so greatly between splurging those extra few dollars, I just remember that he's worth it, and so is the DeWalt DW788 Scroll Saw.
