The TS 55 saw and guide rail system brings the acuracy of a panel saw to any job site. The pair will give you splinter-free, straight cuts on both sides of the blade right out of the box. Festool's unique design is unlike traditional pendulum-cover saws in the it allows the saw blade to retract into the saw housing. This gives you the ability to start and end the cut accurately anywhere on the material. These innovations make for quicker, safer, and more cost effective precision tool. The dust extraction port keeps excess dust away and allows for a clear view of the work piece throughout the cut. Use for cutting apertures, false joints and tight cuts close to edges. Makes quick work of solid wood, fine veneered panels and all kinds of sheet goods, plastics and even aluminum.
