Flex Buffer Features:
The XC3401 Polisher simulates the circular movement of the human hand while polishing due to its unique orbital rotation. The polisher's highly smooth running facilitates a careful, precise finish and even provides what is necessary for hologram-free polishing. The Flex XC 3401 polisher was born to do just that, especially with its ergonomically designed knob handle. The positive drive ensures a uniform movement, even under load, thanks to constant lift. Taken in conjunction with the large stroke length there is also the possibility of removing existing holograms from black finishes. We all know how hard it is to keep our black finishes looking showroom detailed. The accelerator trigger switch and speed selection allow for a controlled acceleration to the optimal speed.

For a Professional Polish finish use the Flex XC3401VRG Polisher
Water-soluble, ecological automotive paints should be processed with very little force, at low speed and with gentle pressure. This will prevent the heating up of the polishing medium and too much paint abrasion. Lake Country quality foam pads and the appropriate Meguiars polish will ensure the proper treatment to suit the material. For the perfect finish always work on one section of the vehicle at a time (hood, trunk, etc.). Do not circulate, but rather polish the surfaces length and cross-wise.

Great Product butr requires some new learning

The quality of this buffer is undeniable and I feel, worth the money. It is not as easy to use on smaller panel areas and vertical areas as say a Porter Cable. I have both and will continue using both. However, once you get used to how this Flex buffer works, with what pad and what polishes, and keeping the pad lubed a little more, it works fantastically. It will get you where you're going quicker than a PC but again rquires a bit of learning curve use to get there. If you are ok with just using it on the hood roof and trunk li, you'll find you can get more done more quickly and with perfect results - and I'm really picky. I really like how it works on these areas and has produced the best shine I've ever had on my 2008 Carbon Black 550 BMW - and in the least amount of time. That color is tough to get right but this thing did it in record time. Be sure to keep the polishing pad lubed up more than you would with the PC and you'll be fine. No need to use any pressure - let the Flex do that all for you.Pros:

one handed is not a good idea - so don'tneeds a little getting used to - so experiment and have fun

would like the speed lock button on the top of the handle vs the side
