This Air Cooled Standby Generator has an aluminum enclosure to keep all environmental factors out. Setup is made much easier with the included composite mounting pad. Also included is a 200 Amp Nexus Smart Switch that can help manage power for your entire house. For additional safety from electrocution, an external GFCI outlet is incorporated. Rather than stuff a car engine in this great generator, Generac installed their own OHVI engine, built specifically for generators and supplying 3-4 times longer life. The aluminum enclosure is in place to better protect this engine (and the other essential inner workings) from environmental factors.
