Their product line started off with quality, dependable machinery for the homeowner, but after a series of acquisitions, General expanded into the commercial market with their high-grade Canadian machinery. In the early 90s General opened General International, a subsidiary of General Manufacturing with a line of high-quality Asian made machines that hold true to General's legendary Canadian quality. General's product range spans from light shop use all the way to production machinery.
