section within our Hand Tools departmentC-Clamps are the simplest and most versatile of all clamps. They get their name from their metal frame shaped like the letter "C". A C-clamp has a strong threaded screw that can concentrate tremendous pressure in a small area. It's widely used for clamping parts in place while gluing or holding wood parts for sawing, routing, or planing. C-clamps are also great for holding metal parts and assemblies in position during welding or other metalworking tasks. Our selection of c-clamps ranges from 1", with a 1" throat to a 12" with a 4" throat.
