Bench grinders are purpose built for sharpening cutting tools, shaping metal and grinding metal. If you replace a grinding wheel with a wire brush wheel you can even clean and polish work pieces for a smooth finish. Jet bench grinders are high quality machines with quality parts such as pre-lubricated ball bearings and UL listed motors. These tools are precision machined and need minimal truing if any at all when they come out of the box.
