Geared Head Engine Lathes

Geared Head Lathe- this is a great machine where time is money. These are much better for high production/ high volume atmosphere. Very precise use under the strictest of guidelines. The changing of speeds is much quicker than that of the belt driven machine. This machine is also much stronger and heavier then the belt driven machine and can withstand much more in terms of tougher to machine materials with larger capacities. The machine and stand come bolted together and as one piece. This allows the machine to be more stable while allowing it to also be more precise. The spindle bore starts at 1/1/2" and goes to 4 1/8"
