This type of sander can handle some of the largest materials and is great for tasks like sanding re-sawed wood from a band saw. The design of the drum sander makes it easy to consistently sand to the same thickness while also being able to switch sandpaper grits on command. Like many other machines, these sanders come in both benchtop and free-standing forms so you can get one that fits your work and space requirements.
