The 18 V 1/2" LXT Compact Hammer Drill/Driver Kit from Makita (BHP452HW) has a powerful drill and everything you need for all-day projects. The 18 Volt LXT Compact Hammer Drill/Driver has a 4-pole motor that delivers 450 inch-pounds of efficient torque. The Shift-LockTM drive system quickly shifts from "hammer drill" to "driver" mode and has a 2-Speed design (0-400/ 0-1,500) so you can select the best setting for the job. The charger and two batteries means you will always have a ready battery on hand and will never have to wait around for your tools. LXT Lithium-Ion batteries provide longer run time than traditional batteries, and have a 5-times lower self-discharge rate, so they're ready anytime you are. They also have life cycles that are twice as long as other batteries, so they last longer before you need to replace them.
