Q. I can't see the blade cutting or the line of cut when I cut with the guide rail.
A. When using the guide rail, once you line-up the cut and clamp the rail to the material, the cut will be dead-on.

Q. Do I place the good side up or down when using this saw? (With conventional circular saws the good side is typically placed down since the rotation of blade cuts upward and the material tends to splinter on the top.)
A. With the SP6000J you can put the "good" side either up or down. Just remember to perform a preliminary "score" cut using the quick depth-stop button setting. This step, along with the rubber support on the guide rail during your final cut, will produce a splinter-free top.

Q. Often times when cutting thick material or on a bevel the material will burn. How will this saw cut thick material?
A. When using the guide rail system, clamp the rail to the material so the rail rests firmly on the material. This will help produce perfect cuts without burning.

Q. Are there different blades available?
A. At this time we will only be offering a 48T TCT blade for general purpose cross cutting.

Q. What other tools uses a 20mm (13/16") arbor?
A. Festool's TS55 blades will fit but the diameter is smaller than 6-5/16"
