Porter Cable 121 Portable Oscillating Spindle Sander
I can't say enought about the Porter Cable 121 Oscillating Spindle Sander. For years I was content working with a stationary spindle sander because that's all that was available, or so I thought. I had no clue there was an easier way. But then I agreed to help my sister remodel her kitchen. That was an experience, especially since I hadn't dusted off my power tools in at least three years. The job proved to go much smoother than I had anticipated; except for the fact I couldn't lift my old stationary spindle sander. So I did my homework and purchased the Porter Cable 121 Hand Held Oscillating Spindle Sander--talk about a lifesaver. Suddenly I was creating edges I never knew were possible! Her entire countertop was a woodworking masterpiece that went beyond anything I imagined, thanks to both the mobility of the tool, as well as the balance. Some of you may question how much power you could possibly get in a hand-held spindle sander, and I assure you that the power is more than enough to accomplish burn-free sanding with a professional touch. By the time the project was finished, my sister got a new kitchen, and I got a renewed interested in woodworking, thanks to my Porter Cable 121 Oscillating Spindle Sander.
