The Porter-Cable 12830 has a thin-kerf design which reduces drag on the motor, allowing the saw to cut more effectively. The body is fully heat hardened and has computer-mapped cooling vents to maintain trueness. The teeth are made of fine-grained tungsten-carbide to stay sharp longer.
