The Porter-Cable 5" PSA 344001 is a Replacement Pad for the 5" Adhesive-Backed Porter-Cable 344 Palm Sander. This Porter-Cable Backing Pad should be replaced when the edges of the pad look worn. If your edges are not worn, many times it only takes a little rubbing alcohol and a brush to clean out the dust and your pad will work as good as new.
