Your Porter-Cable 450 Compact Router is a powerful and versatile tool right out of the box; and with the addition of the 45002 D-Shaped Sub Base, you can further extend the versatility of your router. The 4500s mounts directly to your router via the pre-drilled holes and allows you to make quick and accurate edge profiles with ease. The clear design offers an improved view of the cut area for added accuracy and it's manufactured from a durable Lexan polymer that will stand up to the toughest regular use. The 1-1/2" hole opening allows you to use the large profile bits that are popular with many woodworkers and you can even support the front edge of the base to prevent the router from tipping and increase accuracy.
