For increased cut accuracy, there is an adjustable laser guide. This saw is also great for cutting at odd angles because the shoe allows for bevel cuts up to 50 degrees. Using any tool all day can be uncomfortable, but Porter Cable makes use of this tool more pleasant with the overmolded grips. This saw comes with an 18-tooth carbide tipped blade that's powerful enough to cut through 2" dimensional lumber even at a 45 degree bevel. A cordless circular saw is convenient, but to better manage battery power, be sure to use the easy to use depth of cut adjustment system.
