While the shoe is a vital part of reciprocating saws, it can often get in the way when trying to maneuver around objects when you are cutting. Thankfully, Porter Cable's 8.5 Amp Orbital Reciprocating Tigersaw features a pivoting shoe as well as many other excellent features. The 8.5 amp motor is capable of 3,200 SPM, and the variable speed trigger allows for just the right amount of speed to be applied. If you need an extra touch of aggression in your cutting, the orbital action carries that out. Changing between blades shouldn't have to be a big ordeal. Luckily, the twist lock tool-free blade change system greatly speeds up this process. If your blades aren't lasting as long as they should, it can easily be fixed. The tool-free adjustment shoe (on top of being great for demolition applications) prolongs the life of your blade. This kit also includes a kit box and a wood cutting blade to get you started.
