If you need to take quick temperature readings, Porter Cable has you covered. The 18V Infrared Thermometer takes readings at the speed of light ranging from-22°F to 590°F (or the equivalent in Celsius) without making contact with the surface. When the Indicator Beam detects a hot or cold temperature reading it changes color, either blue for cold or red for hot. Choose your temperature threshold (1, 5, or 10 degrees) to fit your needs. The PCC581B features an easy-to-read backlit LCD display gives you reference and scan temperatures. To keep the unit safe when not in use, a lens cap is attached. You'll always get accurate readings thanks to the 12:1 spot ratio. This is the bare tool, so the battery and charger are sold separately.
