Rotary hammers are useful tools for anyone working with hard materials such as sign hangers, masons, electricians, plumbers and more. Using a hammering action, rotary hammers break apart the material with short, rapid pounding actions, similar to what a jackhammer does. Rotary hammers are versatile as they can be used as a hammer and drill simultaneously, and sometimes in just hammer mode, or just drill mode. Most rotary hammer drills come with various speed settings, as some materials may be softer than others.
