Air Nailers & Air Staplers

section within our Power Tools department

Throughout the '80s the popularity of pneumatic air nailers swept the nation. The boom areas from Texas and California spawned the need for faster production. The advent of pneumatic air nailers solved both that problem and another troublesome problem, the "tennis elbow". Now pneumatic nailers make up more sales than hammers. Whether it be framing, roofing, siding, sheathing, trim work or pallet manufacture, the pneumatic air nailer or stapler has pretty much become a must have tool.

Unlike some other Pneumatic Tools, nail guns don't require a large air compressor or high volume of air to operate properly. A 4-gallon compressor is generally adequate. Compressors are made in several styles, including single tank, twin-tank, and pancake variety. Some are equipped to power more than one nailer at a time.
