The new Powermatic PM3000 Table Saw carries on the legacy of fine industrial sized machinery where the Model 72 left off. The PM3000 features a 14" blade capacity, ideal for custom woodworking shops whom frequently work with large, thick stock. The saw features a massive 38" by 48" cast iron polished table top, which has been scientifically ribbed to avoid distortion and warpage over the service life of the machine. The inner works of the unit consists of oversized heavy cast iron components seated atop the cabinet with a wide stance between mounting holes to allow for fine tuning of the blade in relation to the table. The cabinet is of heavy gauge steel welded together upon a larger steel base for exceptional stability and ease of leveling. The works of the saw are controlled by large milled cast iron hand wheels that are factory balanced with built in handles for rapid and fine adjustments of both height and bevel settings. The PM 3000 is powered by a 7.5 HP 230/460 volt three phase TEFC induction motor, coupled with a multiple groove poly v-belt design power transmission for vibration less operation under any type of operation.The 1720305K comes standard equipped with the cabinet saw, cast iron wings, motor cover, guard, throat plate, 50" Accu-Fence system, table board, adjustable legs and arbor wrench.
