Nice tool box, but has some issues.
By Roger from Olympia, WA on July 1, 2016
First off, the box is made from good quality, heavy gauge steel. Just compare the weight of this box compared to some others. Drawer slides seem like good quality and lock mechanism seems well made.

I was however less than enthusiastic about the rather cheap looking hard plastic wheels. For a $900 tool box, this should definitely have higher quality wheels. Also, the drawer liners are just very thin polystyrene foam, definitely feels cheap on a box like this. I'm not thrilled with he way the drawer slides work. The instructions do say that you have to grease the slides before use, which seems like a really odd thing to have the end user do. Hopefully some grease will smooth out the rough slides, but this really should be done at the factory. Also the instructions were not accurate for the product, which just seems out of place on a very expensive tool box. There was a bottom plate that goes under the wheels that wasn't listed in the instructions and it took me a few tries to figure out where it went.

So, while this box seems very well made, it has some issues I wouldn't expect to find on a pro grade $900 box. For those reasons, I would say that there are probably better boxes for the money out there. Other than the heavier gauge steel used, there really isn't anything else special about this box to justify the pro grade price.

Pros:
Heavy gauge steel
Cons:
Wheels not pro grade
Shelf liners are cheap foam
