The Quincy Air Compressor Company was started due to the failure of others to recognize a great design. Quincy stared in 1920, when three men presented their company with a new vacuum pump design. They were rejected and soon afterwards, they formed a new company with this idea. After their initial design was met with success, Quincy branched out into the field of reciprocating air compressors and was met with high demand. Quincy perfected the art of compressed air and in 1937; they launched their flagship model compressor, the QR-25. We currently carry a full line of compressors including their Single Stage Portable and Commercial Air Compressors and their Vertical Commercial Stationary Air Compressors. In addition, Quincy also sells parts and maintenance products, such as their 10 and 30 weight pump oils. Through several mergers, Quincy is now part of EnPro Industries, which is a leading provider of parts and products for the general manufacturing industry.
