Not sure what size load you need?
The rule of thumb is 1" of penetration into the concrete. A 2x stud is actually 1-1/2", so a 2-1/2" pin is recommended. The load is a different story, as it's effected by forces like the age of the concrete (concrete starts out "green" and continues to harden), test strength, and size of stones used in the mix. Here the rule of thumb is do a test at a lower load and work up to the power that satisfies you. Safety First! And always wear Eye Protection.
