Having trouble trying to place an order? Here are the solutions to the most common problems other customers have had:

Is JavaScript enabled?

Our shopping cart requires JavaScript to be enabled for some functionality, such as changing the quantity for an item, and basic error checking. Here's how to enable it in several common browsers (once JavaScript is enabled, you may need to reload the page):

In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options. On the Security tab, click on the Custom level button. In that list, find Active scripting (it's usually towards the bottom, in the Scripting section), and select either Enable or Prompt.

In Firefox, from the Tools menu, select Options. On the Content tab, make sure Enable JavaScript is checked.

From the Safari menu, select Preferences. Click Security, and make sure Enable Javascript is checked.

In Opera, select the Tools menu, and select Quick Preferences. Check Enable JavaScript.

Can't add any items into your cart, or only one item

If nothing shows up in your shopping cart after you click the Add to Cart button on a page, the problem is usually related to the cookie settings in your web browser. Below are instructions to enable cookies in several popular browsers:

In Internet Explorer, from the Tools menu, select Internet Options. On the Privacy tab, make sure the slider is set to Medium-High or lower.

In Firefox, from the Tools menu, select Options. In the Privacy category, select the Cookies tab, and make sure Allow sites to set Cookies is checked.

In the Safari menu, select Preferences, and click the Security icon. In the Accept Cookies selection box, select Always.

In Opera, from the Tools menu, select Preferences. On the Advanced tab, select Cookies from the list, and click Accept cookies.

Error messages saying the BasketServer isn't running

This is caused by an intermittent problem with our website host. Usually if you wait a minute, and click the reload button, the error will disappear. If you continue to have problems, please email the webmaster, and we'll investigate what's causing the errors.

Are you using a firewall?

Some personal firewall applications (such as ZoneAlarm or EZ Firewall) may try to block cookies, overriding your browser's settings. Configuring a firewall can be pretty complex, but you should look for a setting like Accept Cookies, or Accept Third-Party Cookies, and make sure it is enabled.
