This blade is manufactured from a high carbon steel alloy that offers extended blade life and increased cut quality. The razor sharp edge will leave behind a smooth surface with less effort, and it's easy to resharpen when needed. The 12-313 comes pre-honed to a 25 degree ground edge and Stanley recommends an additional honing angle of 30 degrees for best performance.
