Good blower
I have used the blower several times now and overall I'm happy with it. So glad that I don't have to mix the oil and gas! There are a couple of things about it that I don't like though. First, it's quite heavy. I have a very long driveway that I use blower to clear off grass clippings, leaves, pine straw, etc. By the time I was halfway through my arm was really aching. It would be nice if there was a way to attach a shoulder strap to take some of the weight off my arm. Second, it seems to be made for left handed people instead of right handed folks like me. I say that because the air intake is on the left side of the machine and I noticed that it was constantly trying to suck my shorts into to! I had to be careful to keep it further away from my leg. Since there is a guard there I know that the shorts won't actually get sucked in, but it is annoying to feel the tug. Obviously holding it in your left hand eliminates that issue. It seems to have enough power as I had no problem blowing an accumulated pile of pine straw that was a few inches tall.
ProsPower No need to mix oil and gas
ConsWeight No shoulder strap Air intake on the left side

Excellent Hand held Blower (BHX2500CA)
I'm biased in that I like Makita Brand product going in . This product is a good choice for the casual user. It starts easily and is quiet compared to the 2 cycle units you see. It's hand held which some may find tiring, but I prefer it to the backpack which most pros use.
ProsEasy start, no gas and oil mixing
ConsCould be a little more sensitive in power selection

Solid blower BHX2500CA
I got this blower to replace a two cycle echo of similar size when I got tired of all of the smell from the exhaust. I have put about four hours of running time on it so far this fall mainly blowing leaves. This blower functions very well, almost identical to the echo. It is slightly quieter than the echo and seems slightly more powerful. Exhaust leaves very little odor compared to my two cycle echo. Only negative is the lock for the throttle is plastic and looks weak like it could break. Overall very good for the money and I would definitely buy it again.
Pros No mixing oil in the gas. Very low odor from exhaust. Relatively quiet. Still much louder than electric. Good power.
Cons Plastic piece used to lock the throttle open seems a bit fragile. Works fine now but I worry it might break eventually.
